Retirement Security

IEEE-USA will work to advance policies designed to help highly mobile technical professionals ensure their retirement security.

As priorities, IEEE-USA will support legislative measures that make permanent the retirement savings improvements passed in 2001, ensure the solvency of the Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation, enhance pension portability and savings, encourage phased retirement, and/or protect the long-term viability of the social security system.
