IEEE-USA Chair's Offshoring Testimony Before U.S. House Committee To Be Televised on C-SPAN

WASHINGTON (20 October 2003) — Dr. Ron Hira, chair of the IEEE-USA Research & Development Policy Committee, delivered testimony Monday before the House Small Business Committee on the offshoring of high-skilled jobs. Natasha Humphries, a former senior software quality assurance engineer from Northern California who lost her job to offshoring in August, also testified. The hearing is slated to air for the first time on C-SPAN tonight.
