WASHINGTON (16 July 2002) — Now's the time to nominate someone whose efforts on behalf of the profession or the IEEE merit national recognition with an IEEE-USA award. But don't delay; the nomination deadline is Thursday, 1 August 2002. Forms can be found at http://www.ieeeusa.org/awards/forms.html.

The IEEE-USA Precollege Education Committee Teacher-Engineer Partnership Award is new this year. It is designed to recognize collaborative activities between K-12 teachers and IEEE members.
