Hotel Information, Reservations & Directions

Please call the hotel direct at 1.206.244.4800 or 1.800.HILTONS, and mention the code EEE for the IEEE-USA PDC & Workshop group rate.  Reservations may also be made online at http://www.hilton.com.

The 2003 Workshop sleeping room rate is $109.00 for a single or double king or 2 beds. The appropriate state and local taxes of 12.4% will be added. The cost of the sleeping rooms is the responsibility of the attendee. The cut-off date for sleeping rooms at the contracted rate will only be honored up to 3 March 2003. Depending upon the sold-out status at the hotel, the contracted rate may not be available after this date resulting in a higher room rate.

There will be a $50 early departure fee. Guests wishing to avoid this fee should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay. The hotel will inform all members of our group of this potential charge upon check-in.

Check-in time is 3:00 PM, with check-out at Noon. Guests arriving before 3:00 PM, will be accommodated, as rooms become available.

To guarantee your sleeping room, the hotel requires you to provide a (first or last) night’s deposit, or to be guaranteed by a major credit card. Checks and major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay will be charged immediately.


Accommodations

The Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center has just completed a $60 million dollar renovation. The Hilton and their sister property the Doubletree (right down the street) both have lush settings and are very unique in this regard. They have created two brilliant properties, which give the hotels a park-like feel. The mature maples, evergreens and rhododendrons in each location, provide a serene setting alongside the outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, with many guestrooms looking inward on this backdrop or mountainside by request.

Complimentary transportation to area malls & offer continuous, consistent, complimentary airport transportation, every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Guests receive both Points and Miles with the Hilton HHonors program.

With a majority of our guests using the hotel to conduct business, our guest rooms have been designed to make life easier for the business traveler. All 400 guest rooms and suites feature a spacious working desk with easy data port and plug-in accessibility. In addition, high-speed internet connection is available at a reasonable daily charge to help stay connected to the outside world. All of these features will benefit your guests and create a useable workspace to conduct their business effectively.

Guest room amenities include 2 dual-line telephones w/voice mail & data port; high speed internet access; coffee make w/complimentary coffee & tea; fully stocked honor bar; large work desk with desk-level outlets, laptop tray, adjustable lighting & ergonomic chair; Hair dryer, iron & full size ironing board; Complimentary Neutrogena bathroom amenities; individual climate control; electronic locks; USA Today delivered each weekday morning; Cable TV w/On Command pay-per-view movies & Nintendo video games and free HBO; Full length mirrors; and Web TV.


Parking

Parking for attendees and guests of the IEEE-USA 2003 Workshop will be provided at the discounted fee of $10.00 per day. This same rate will also be available to any overnight guests staying at the hotel.
Fitness Center

To help guests keep fit while traveling and unwind after a long day’s work, the hotel has a fitness facility, complete with cardiovascular and free weight equipment. The center is open 24 hours per day and is complimentary to hotel guests.


Dining

The Hilton offers “Spencer’s for Steaks & Chops,” the finest steakhouse in south Seattle. Its warm and comfortable atmosphere, as well as tasty steaks, chops and seafood, make it a wonderful option for hotel guests and is also very popular with local Seattle residents. Spencer’s is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

At the Doubletree, you’ll find “Seaports,” restaurant featuring some of the finest northwest cuisine sure to please even the most discriminating seafood lover, open for lunch and dinner.

In addition to restaurants located on site, they are the only full service facilities in the area that are located within immediate walking distance to over 10 dining/and or fast food establishments.

Spencer’s Lounge is designed to be inviting and comfortable. Guest can enjoy spirits and sports, served by friendly bartenders and servers with a smile.

Northbound to the Hotel:

I-5 North bound take Exit #152 (South 188th Street and Seatac Airport).
At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left onto 188th Street.
Turn right at International Blvd (a.k.a. Pacific Highway or Highway 99).
Continue through 3 traffic signals. The hotel is on the right side of the street next to Budget Car Rental.

Southbound to the Hotel:

I-5 South bound take exit #152 (South 188th Street and Orillia Road).
Turn right onto 188th Street.
Turn right at International Blvd (aka Pacific Highway or Highway 99).
Continue through three traffic signals. The hotel is on the right side of the street next to Budget Car Rental.
